Our student clubs and organizations give students an opportunity to get involved, give back to the community, and meet other students who share the same passions and academic interests.
Curriculum and instructional support helps all students reach their learning potential. MIT teachers and leaders create curriculum, instruction, and assessments that are rigorous, integrated, and aligned to Arizona College and Career Readiness standards and international standards. All MIT classes incorporate communication skills, encourage innovation, and require critical thinking, problem solving, and peer collaboration. Students master reading and writing skills, ensuring they are academically prepared for college and career success.

MIT is a STEM school in the Riverside School District designed for advanced students. If you are currently a student in the Riverside School District (or the parent of a child in the district) interested in robotics, drones, 3D printing, engineering, or science, then this is the school for you!
  • High GPA (3.5 or greater)
  • Maturity to handle a college schedule (recommendation from Kings Ridge staff)
  • Ability to manage a demanding curriculum
  • Fortitude to manage a zero-tolerance code of conduct
  • Mandatory parent involvement
  • Strict uniform policy (lab coats required in all research labs)
