Last May, before the end of the school year, MIT celebrated a significant milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony for its new building, marking the commencement of Phases 3 and 4 of campus development. This new facility is scheduled for completion by the summer of
2026.
The event was graced by esteemed leaders, including Dr. Gutierrez and Dr. Rivera, alongside dedicated board members. Highlighting the institute’s commitment to student involvement, MIT students Joel Hernandez, Yajaira Cardenas, and Karina Martinez Hinojos.
This expansion reflects MIT’s dedication to providing a rigorous, hands-on learning environment that prepares students for success in college and STEM careers.
